Join us for Fierce Green Fires, a group poetry reading curated by Adam Vargas, with poets Donnie Bland, Leah Fuentes, Lyric, and Adrian Porrata.
Regardless of spiritual beliefs, or lack of, one cannot ignore the power and complexity of the only planet we've ever known. It can be said that Mother Nature birthed us. If not birthed, then certainly nurtured. The question is, have we been children worth being proud of? If a tree or a rock or a body of water could speak, what would they have to say about us? You are welcome to a group poetry reading in which our poets navigate, or make meaning of, their relationship with the natural world.
