Description:
Generosity is a great virtue in Sioux culture. A family publicly gives away possessions to honor relatives or significant life events. In this program, teens will receive a handkerchief to embroider with what they feel at the moment, and take home their work along with a needle and a spool of cotton thread to give away to someone, allowing them to add their own poem, name, or messages to the handkerchief. All materials will be provided. Best for Ages 11-18.
