Come celebrate Mother's Day, community resilience, and creativity with our skill-sharing celebration. This event will focus on how we can repurpose and reuse materials to create something beautiful and meaningful, all while learning more about sustainability. The event will be hosted outdoors, with multiple activities happening at once.
Activities include a clothing swap from Radical Clothes Swap, an exploration of vibrant, eco-friendly botanical inks handcrafted in Los Angeles from locally-grown plants with Ms. Larsen's Botanical Ink, bicycle repair workshop with Bicycle Kitchen, a lesson on clothing repair using Japanese Sashiko stitching with Chiara Barlow, an Ikebana floral arranging workshop, and zine making with Flor Hernandez Zarate.
