John McLean Allan will present a history of the bagpipes and explain how the instrument has influenced the culture of Scotland. He will teach the audience how to dance a jig and reel. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the bagpipes played up close. His program introduces both children and adults to the fundamentals of the bagpipe, tunes, and encourages audience participation.
