This introduction to character design will be led by Dietz Ichishita, an animator who formerly worked at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Attendees will learn how to create their own cartoon characters using basic character design fundamentals. For those who have already created their own characters, the program will help improve their designs. Materials/supplies will be provided.

Dietz Toshio Ichishita is an animation instructor at Woodbury University. He has worked on films such as Moana, Winnie the Pooh, The Princess and the Frog, The Iron Giant, Tarzan, Mulan and Hercules.
