Description:

Do you like sports? Does literature speak to you? Would you like to go for a walk? Then join us on the first and third Thursdays of the month for Book Walk and Talk. This month we celebrate Arab American Heritage Month & National Poetry Month! Meet us at Central Library's 630 West 5th Street Entrance and we'll head out on another brisk walk to and from Molina Park. We'll be discussing selections from My Beautiful Sisters: A Story of Courage, Hope, and the Afghan Women's Football Team, and poetry from Arab in Newsland. The reading selections will be emailed to you in advance when you sign up.
