Description:

Do you like sports? Does literature speak to you? Would you like to go for a walk? Welcome to the Book Walk & Talk event! Join us for a fun-filled, hour-long, Book Walk and Talk.

Meet us at the Central Library's 630 West 5th Street Entrance. We'll head out on a brisk walk to and from Molina Park while discussing essays, memoirs, novels, poetry, and short story selections from the Los Angeles Public Library's extensive Literature and Sports collections. This event is perfect for all readers ages 18 and up.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow book lovers and discuss new and old literary gems. Mark your calendars for a morning of fun, book discussion, and the outdoors! We can't wait to see you here!

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Friends groups raise money for improvements to their library through memberships, used book sales and other activities. For more information click here or talk to your local librarian.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
