The Roundhouse Aquarium is bringing the aquarium to the Venice Branch Library for a hands-on learning experience about marine science and conservation!

Take the opportunity to touch real-life sea animals and dry specimens. Discover the rich marine life in the Santa Monica Bay, learn about the connections between humans and our natural environment, and gain an understanding of how our daily interactions impact our marine ecosystems.

Join the fourth LA BioBlitz challenge from October 1-31. Include this program in your quest to complete the challenge of photographing and mapping wild animals, insects, and plants found in your neighborhood, local parks, off of hiking trails, and other natural locations. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
