Casey Cooper, an astronomer at Griffith Observatory, leads public viewing sessions using the Zeiss refracting telescope, the Coelostat solar telescope, and Celestron lawn telescopes. They also teach children of all ages during observatory field trips and outdoor skills camps. Casey gained much of their technical astronomy knowledge at their local Library branch and advocates for utilizing library resources for lifelong learning.
