Do you love graphic novels? Then this is the club for you!

This month's title is Absolute Batman Vol. 1 by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta. A gang of masked killers terrorizes the streets of Gotham. A vigilante fights for his city, but he's not the Batman you know. The Absolute Universe, born out of the Justice League's apocalyptic battle with Darkseid, ushers in a set of brand-new realities that reimagine your favorite heroes as you've never seen them before. In Absolute Batman, meet a young Bruce Wayne with no Wayne Manor, no Alfred by his side, and a different axe to grind as the Dark Knight.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
