Description:

Join UCLA scientists at the library for some heartfelt science and learn all about the muscle that never stops ticking. We will investigate blood types, build our own model hearts, and discover how our muscles make us move. We're pumped to see you there! This program is ideal for young scientists and artists ages 5-10.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
