Description:

Whether you're creating a resume for the first time or preparing to change jobs and want to refresh your interviewing skills, this series of workshops will support your preparation for the job hunt ahead. Week 1 and Week 2 will reinforce your Résume Writing Skills, while Week 3 will help you prepare a Cover Letter Template that will support your job applications, and Week 4 covers Interview Preparation.

Join us for one session or all four workshop sessions, and be ready to land your next job!

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Friends groups raise money for improvements to their library through memberships, used book sales and other activities. For more information click here or talk to your local librarian.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
