Join Arnold Weiss as he shares stories about the early work of journalist Ernie Pyle. Pyle traveled across America a total of six times, interviewing citizens along the way. Pyle's writings recount interviews with these ordinary citizens and prominent figures such as Walt Disney and inventor George Washington Carver, all of which showcase the American propensity for humor and resilience through times of hardship.
