Join us for a production ofTam Tran Goes to Washington by the East-West Players Theatre for Youth. The play features a story about Tam Tran, a UCLA graduate and filmmaker, who loves Radiohead and spends time with her best friend Cinthya. Both Tam and Cinthya are undocumented Americans fighting for their right to pursue their dreams. When Tam is invited to testify before the Senate about the DREAM Act, she’s terrified. But with the support from her friends, teachers, and mother, she finds the courage to share her story and advocate for change.
