Description:
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will be available to administer (20) doses of the COVID vaccine (for 18yrs+ and uninsured only), (20) doses of the Hep A vaccines, and while supplies last—Vaccines for Children (VFC Program): Hep B, MMR, Dtap, Tdap, and Polio.
Please have vaccine cards ready so that we can verify vaccine eligibility. For those who do not have a vaccine card or digital record on hand, the team will check the CA Immunization Registry for prior vaccination history. Health insurance information will be required for those who are insured for COVID-19 vaccines. Those who are uninsured will not be turned away.
Please note that our school readiness vaccines (any vaccines other than COVID and Flu) are for Vaccines For Children (VFC) eligible children only. A child is eligible for the VFC Program if they are younger than 19 years of age and one of the following:
- Uninsured
- Enrolled in Medi-Cal or eligible for Medi-Cal
- American Indian or Alaska Native
Children who are privately insured are not eligible for the VFC Program and cannot be vaccinated by our team.
Minors receiving a vaccine will need a parent/legal guardian present and documentation with proof of age indicating name and date of birth (birth certificate, school document, immunization / medical records, etc).
