Do you love graphic novels? Does your family tire of having to talk about Watchmen—again? Looking for someone to geek out with you over the new stuff from Brian K. Vaughan? Then this is the club for you!
This month, we'll discuss Your Black Friend and Other Strangers by Ben Passmore (2018). The author masterfully tackles comics about race, gentrification, the prison system, online dating, gross punks, bad street art, kung fu movie references, beating up God, and lots of other grown-up stuff with refreshing doses of humor and lived relatability. You can grab this title on hoopla with your library card.
