Description:

Based in Los Angeles, the East West Players has featured Asian American theatrical works since 1965. In honor of Women's History Month, the Echo Park Branch is pleased to host its Theatre for Youth production of Patsy, writen by Alison Minami and directed by John Miyasaki, and inspired by the life and work of Patsy Mink, the first Asian American woman to serve in Congress. 

Best enjoyed by adults and teens, this free event is sponsored by the California Arts Council, the Ford Foundation, the Perenchio Foundation and LAist.
