Join other curious teens and almost teens at the Mar Vista Library for two programs of STEAM activities focused on space exploration!

Have you ever wondered...

What do we mean by "life" when we talk about life on other planets?
How big is the solar system?
What's on a satellite?

If you'd like to explore these and other questions about space, this is the program for you! Explore, discover, and meet new people at the library.

Due to the nature of the program, space is limited. To register, please call (310) 390 3454 or email deborah.bramwell@lapl.org. Open to those 11-18 or 19 and still in high school.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Friends groups raise money for improvements to their library through memberships, used book sales and other activities. For more information click here or talk to your local librarian.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
