Description:

Still lifes are art pieces depicting everyday objects arranged in a scene. In this series of lessons, we will walk through the steps to draw and paint a still life in acrylic. Participants are highly encouraged to attend all four sessions for the best learning experience. Basic supplies are provided.

11/26: Brief art history overview, proportions, mapping, contours
12/3: Volume, shading, values, adjustments
12/10: Color theory, mixing paint, color matching, base coats
12/17: Washes, highlights, shadows
