Description:

Join us as the branch hosts its first "Crank-In." Come by and learn how to use a sock knitting machine or a round knitter, such as an Addi or Sentra type machine. These tools allow for making socks, hats, headbands, wine covers, and other circular item quickly and efficiently. No prior knitting experience is necessary.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
