In today’s uncertain economy, planning for your financial future is more important than ever. Join us for Financial Literacy Month, a month-long event where you can choose from a variety of programs to help you reach your goals or get back on track.
Streaming Educational Workshops
Throughout the month, there will be two streaming educational workshops presented by financial professionals on such topics as: government imposter scams and your savings. These workshops will be live-streamed, recorded, and available on the library's Youtube channel.

Budgeting and Planning Workshop on Saturday, April 11, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. at the West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library
Investing Basics on Sunday, April 26, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. at the West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library
LA Saves Tabling Events
April 6 - 10 also marks America Saves Week. Throughout this week, there will be a series of tabling events with financial professionals from the Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion. The tabling events will focus on encouraging people to pledge to save money and will take place at the Central Library and select branch library locations.

Saturday, April 25, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Palms-Rancho Park Branch Library

The Financial Literacy Day appointment line will be coming in early April 2026. Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are welcome, per financial planner availability..
