Description:

Join us for our monthly virtual film discussion. This month, we will be talking about Beans (2020)

A coming-of-age story about Beans (Kiawentiio, Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender), a twelve-year-old Mohawk girl living in Canada during the 1990 Oka Crisis, a land dispute between the local government and the Mohawk over whether a golf course could be built on an indigenous burial ground.
