In honor of Robert O'Hara's adaptation of Hamlet opening at the Mark Taper Forum this month, this Shakespeare for all workshop gives Shakespeare novices and lovers alike the opportunity to explore heightened text through riveting movement and vocal exercises, all while diving into the Bard's much-loved play Hamlet.
Lead by Teaching Artist and Ensemble Member of Independent Shakespeare Co. Carene Rose Mekertichyan, participants will explore Shakespearean archetypes and the role theatrical genre plays in revealing the timeliness, universality, and accessibility of Shakespeare's plays.
