Description:
Are you interested in learning important money-related skills, like budgeting, borrowing responsibly, and building credit? Do you want to make a difference in your community? Do you want to develop leadership and planning skills, get volunteer hours, and be eligible for cash incentives? If this is you, join Teens Leading Change at the Northridge Branch Library!
Teens Leading Change is a Los Angeles Public Library initiative that allows teens to design and implement their own community service projects. Projects begin in the fall and conclude in April or May. This year, the Northridge Branch Library's teens have chosen Financial Literacy as their topic. Newcomers are welcome to join at any time! For more information, email katie.wright@lapl.org. You must be a high school student, ages 14-19, to participate.
