Description:

Robot and animatronic engineer Paul Thompson will give an overview and demonstration of full-size entertainment robots and animatronics. There will be multiple examples of robots, materials used to make robots, and a description of different processes to make robots. Paul will teach how robots and animatronics are made with props and photographs, explain 3D modeling and printing, fabrication, and demonstrate puppeteering of the creations.
