Our featured speaker will be Cindy Rinne. Rinne creates poetry, zines, visual and fiber arts in San Bernardino. Her poems have been featured in anthologies, art exhibits and dance performances. Rinne's storytelling process collages ancient and present to create an atmosphere of intimacy and mystery for her audiences.
Rinne's honors include a Pushcart nomination and an artist residency at Desert Dairy in Twentynine Palms. She also performed Dancing Through the Fire Door at the PAMLA conference at UCLA.
Rinne's books include Dancing Through the Fire Door, Today on Two Planets, and The Feather Ladder. Her poetry and visual poetry have appeared in many publications.
