Description:

With guest presenter Monica, the Creative Beasts, and using old maps from vintage atlas books, you will create your own mini travel journal to record impressions or make quick sketches of places you see during your summer vacation, or special places you visit! Participants will learn the 2-in-1 binding stitch to create a mini journal with pockets for storing travel ephemera, such as train tickets or museum stubs, to keep as mementos. Recommended for grades 6-12. No bookbinding experience is necessary.
