Visit us at Hyde Park Library for some close encounters with real sea creatures! Experience marine life up close with our friends from the Blue Submarine in Long Beach! Sea stars, preserved sharks, hermit crabs, and sea slugs are just a few of the amazing animals you could see!

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
