Description:

Learn the basics of hand embroidery! We’ll learn some commonly used stitches to create a floral design. We will also cover pattern drafting and setting up thread and an embroidery hoop. A cotton bandana is provided, but you may bring your own plain article of clothing to embroider if you wish (t-shirt, tote bag, jacket, etc.)

This is a hands-on, in-person activity that introduces basic embroidery techniques and will involve the use of needles and scissors. We will provide all materials and will bring a handkerchief that the participants will get to keep, though they may bring their own item to embroider as well.
