Description:

Did you know that Los Angeles is home to more than 750 museums, more than any other city in the country! Also On View: Unique and Unexpected Museums of Greater Los Angeles is a new book from Angel City Press that celebrates 64 of the most fascinating and underappreciated local collections, from the culturally significant—such as the Garifuna Museum—to the highly specific, such as the City of Los Angeles' Streetlight Museum. This wide-ranging project celebrates the region's most fascinating and underappreciated museums, highlighting incredible stories of the people behind them.

Join us for a special conversation with author Todd Lerew and photographer Ryan Schude to hear all about their journey, venturing off the beaten path to discover and document all the diversity and wonder Los Angeles has to offer. Moderating this discussion will be Tom Carroll, a content creator for the Los Angeles Times.

Those attending the program will have an opportunity to take home a free copy of Also on View.

Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged. To reserve your seat, please go to this link to find the event. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
