Description:

Learn a new skill and celebrate Summer With the Library! We will follow a simple tutorial and work together to create a felt bookmark that can be used to track your reading this summer and all seasons ahead. Supplies will be provided and no sewing experience is necessary.

This program is limited to 15 participants and is for teens and adults.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
