The Friends of the Van Nuys Branch Library is hosting a used book sale, with books, CDs and DVDs available at bargain prices. Everything must go!

This is a great opportunity to stock your shelves and support the library. Bring your book bag and some change because all books and DVD's/CD's are just $0.50 or less (soft cover $0.25 and many other books just $0.10). Exact change is preferred.

All proceeds will benefit programming and collection development at the Van Nuys Branch Library.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Friends groups raise money for improvements to their library through memberships, used book sales and other activities. For more information click here or talk to your local librarian.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
