The Friends of the Northridge Library are excited to announce a "Clear the Shelves" book sale!

We have accumulated a large collection of books over the past five years, and now is your chance to grab them at a bargain. For just $5, you can purchase a grocery bag filled with as many books as you can fit. Please note that the books will not be sorted by genre or age range. Additionally, we will have special art books and a limited selection of autographed books by various authors available for sale, starting at $5 each.

Cash is preferred.

All proceeds from the sale will go to the Friends of the Northridge Library to be used towards funding Northridge Branch Library programs and materials.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Friends groups raise money for improvements to their library through memberships, used book sales and other activities. For more information click here or talk to your local librarian.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
