Description:

Join us for an entirely nonpartisan Election & Civic Engagement Learning Circle tailored to California. This series is perfect for first-time voters, lapsed voters, the voting curious, and anyone generally interested in civic engagement. Even those ineligible to vote at this time, may be able to work or volunteer at the polls; or engage with friends or family members who are on the fence about voting this year. The three-week curriculum is inspired by the News for You Voting Guide, which will be handed out to program participants.

The dates and times of the Learning Circles are:

Monday, October 7 from 5 - 6 p.m.
Monday, October 21 from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Monday, October 28 from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
