Description:

Calling all adventurers! Head to the Museum of Natural Wonders at the Octavia Lab, a pop-up inspired by Dungeons and Dragons and fantasy realms. Explore amazing creatures, meet experts from the Shield Fern Guild, and learn about nature’s balance and conservation. Get hands-on by crafting your own shield for protection and dive into nature journaling with our artists to document plants, animals, and landscapes you discover. Level up your conservation skills and join the adventure!

Presented by Cosplay for Science, a group of scientists and educators whose goal is to reach communities to foster science appreciation through the use of pop culture.

This special program is one of many at the AAPI Joy: Narratives, Storytelling, and History Celebration at Central Library.
