Description:

Our Cybernaut, Bohdan, will teach a computer workshop about how to use Libby and the library catalog. This workshop will make you more comfortable with various topics related to using library resources to request books and other materials.

Topics covered include:

Downloading the Libby app
Connecting your library card
Borrowing titles and placing holds
Using the shelf feature in Libby
Searching and requesting a book online
Paying fines online, and more

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
