Description:

Chinese calligraphy has been a traditional art of Chinese writing for more than 5,000 years. It is especially significant during numerous Chinese festivals and celebrations. This workshop is a superb opportunity for everyone to learn how to write in a different language and to learn about Chinese culture in a fun and creative way through Chinese calligraphy. Participants will learn to write 24 Chinese characters and get to take home their prized work.

Adults and teens are welcome. All supplies are provided.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
