The Elves by P.C. Verrone.
Struggling novelist Jereth finally gets his big break when some unexpected guests appear in his apartment: a group of elves who write his books for him while he is asleep. Jereth thinks he has it made until the Elves unionize and demand compensation for their work. The Elves is an outrageous comedy about the importance of creative labor.
