Description:

Join us in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Los Angeles Central Library and explore the art of zine-making at this special event. Nova Community Arts will teach attendees various folding techniques for zines and introduce the "Centennial Fold," a mini zine celebrating a century of the light of learning.

Nova Community Arts is a queer-owned, community-focused center dedicated to arts education for adults in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Octavia Lab is a do-it-yourself maker space located inside the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library.

This event is a collaboration between the Literature and Fiction Department, Octavia Lab, and the Venice Branch Library (currently closed).
