Join us for a very special bilingual storytime with Josue! He will perform songs and stories to make you get up and dance!
Josue Cuentacuentos, a bilingual storyteller who has dedicated over 24 years to working at a library, understands the significance of encouraging children to read. With a background in Theatre Arts and Dance, he utilizes the art of storytelling to inspire, entertain, educate, and bring joy to both children and adults. Josue's passion for albondigas and his jovial personality, paired with a wealth of surreal life experiences from Mexico City, shape him into the captivating storyteller he is today. Raised by a single mother, he appreciates women's pivotal role in society. Amid the pandemic, he picked up playing the ukulele and now creates his own music. Located in the scenic hills of East L.A., Josue shares his home with his beloved pug, Mr. S'more. His mantra is simple: "Everyone has a story, what's yours?" Josue is currently developing an online show titled "Josue en el Espacio," aimed at assisting children in boosting their confidence to combat bullying.
