Join us for an afternoon of Opera proudly presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Mission Opera. OPERA 101 is a fun, interactive, educational program that exposes residents of all ages to the beautiful art form of opera. We explore the history of the art form, the various languages and countries where opera developed, and showcase famous arias and other pieces with professional, nationally-acclaimed opera singers, including soprano Brooke Iva Lohman, tenor Robert Dunlap, and baritone and host Joshua R. Wentz, accompanied by the fabulous Robert L. Blake on piano.
