Members of the Friends of Venice Library gain early access at 9 a.m. Anyone may join or renew thier annual membership at the double doors. All others will gain admission at 10 a.m.

Description:

The Friends of Venice Library will be selling gently used books, CDs, and DVDs. A large selection of fiction, nonfiction, and children's books is available in hardback, trade, and mass market paperbacks. Genres include cookbooks, craft, gardening, puzzles, and games. All sales are cash, check, Zelle, or PayPal. Credit cards are not accepted.

All proceeds benefit programming and collection development at the Venice Branch Library.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Friends groups raise money for improvements to their library through memberships, used book sales and other activities. For more information click here or talk to your local librarian.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
