In this workshop, you will learn how to bind and create your very own book. We will be creating a coptic-bound hardcover book with acrylic covers. You will learn how to fold the paper into signatures and hand-sew the pages and covers together using the traditional Coptic Stitch technique. This is a hands-on, in-person activity where participants will learn bookbinding skills as they hand-stitch their own hardcover book together. We will provide all materials needed to make the books, including acrylic covers, paper, thread, bone folders, and needles.
