Description:

Participants will use a range of mixed media materials to create a hanging mobile consisting of wire, string, buttons, and pieces of handmade paper. Participants will also be encouraged to think about space and composition, and how each material and hanging object relates to one another. Lastly, we will explore and introduce the basic elements of art and principles of design, including: line, shape, texture, form, space, color, and value. Contrast, balance, proportion, movement, positive/negative space, rhythm, repetition, and harmony. Best for Ages 12-18.
