Description:

Seniors and Adults are welcome to attend a special Senior Scam & Awareness Workshop with Mom's Computer.

Mom's Computer is a Los Angeles-based tech help service dedicated to making technology easy, friendly, and accessible for everyone--especially adult learners and seniors. For over a decade, our team has helped thousands of Angelenos feel confident using their computers, phones, and everyday digital tools.

Mom's Computer brings its long-standing experience working with adult learners directly into this focused workshop on scam awareness and prevention. Attendees will learn how to identify common scams, understand how scammers operate, and take confident steps to protect themselves.

This event is hosted by the Platt Library's Teen Council and generously funded by the Library Foundation of Los Angeles Teens Leading Change Initiative.

The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
