Description:

An aspiring author during the 1960’s civil rights movement writes a book about the African American maids' point of view on the white families they work for. This sends her community into an uproar when she interviews the black female servants. Starring: Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, & Emma Stone. Rated PG-13.

The Help won one Oscar from its four nominations at the 2012 Academy Awards, with Octavia Spencer winning Best Supporting Actress. The film also received a Best Picture nomination and both Viola Davis and Jessica Chastain were nominated in acting categories.
