Description:

Meet with fellow readers on the second Saturday of each month for a lively book discussion led by a different member of our staff, featuring the book of their choice. Pick up the next book a month before the discussion.

This month, Ethel will lead a discussion on The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See. The novel follows Li-yan, an Akha woman from a remote mountain village in China, as she navigates tradition, love, and the tea trade, ultimately leading her to search for her daughter, Haley, who was given up for adoption in America.

(Please note: This title was originally scheduled for discussion last May and has been rescheduled for this month.)
