Description:

The Eagle Rock Book Club explores both acclaimed newer books and rediscovered classics of the past.  

The selection for October is Colored Television by Danzy Senna. When biracial author Jane's latest novel, a centuries-spanning epic, is rejected, she turns to Hollywood. Jane meets with a hot young producer who envisions the greatest biracial comedy ever to hit the small screen. Things finally seem to be going right for Jane, until they go terribly wrong.  

The library will have copies to check out, or check our e-media page for electronic access on Libby and hoopla.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
