Description:
Discover one of the many expressions of Art used by the Indigenous peoples of New Spain and Peru who considered feathers more valuable than gold with artist and educator Miriam Quezada. Multicolored feathers were associated with gods; only royalty, priests and lords could use them fashioned into splendid customs, shields, hairdressers, and emblems.
Feathers will be provided for this program and displays of different feather paraphernalia will be shown.
