Description:

Learn to stitch a moody, dusky landscape in an embroidery hoop! Visiting stitcher Ellen Lumpkin Brown will show you how to use scrappy fabrics together with 3 different types of stitches to make a piece of art that is totally your own. No sewing experience is needed, but registration is required. All materials and supplies provided.

The Octavia Lab is a do-it-yourself maker space located inside the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library.
